It is ideal for tough detail work like cleaning, deburring, blending and finishing as well as working in small confined spaces. The 3M Cubitron II File Belt 786F is equipped with 3M Cubitron II Abrasives, which feature our Precision-Shaped Grain (PSG) technology with uniformly sized ceramic grains and precisely shaped triangular structures – essentially, sharp peaks that slice, not plow, through paint and metal. These grains are electrostatically oriented on the abrasive surface for the most efficient cut and even wear. Additionally, they fracture during use to maintain sharp abrasive edges resulting in a 30% faster cut and lasting 2x longer life than conventional ceramic abrasives. 3M Cubitron II File Belt 786F is available in various coarse grades and various widths as well as various lengths; it can be fitted on to various types of file belt machines available on the market.
